BintiCare Foundation Kenya is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children, girls, teenage mothers and underserved communities. We work through integrated programs in education support, school feeding and nutrition, menstrual health and hygiene, scholarships and mentorship, community empowerment, health awareness and skills development.
We operate through a community-centered approach that ensures sustainability, inclusion and long-term impact — walking alongside schools, local leaders and families rather than working around them.

Dignity
We believe that every girl deserves to know her worth and to be valued as an individual, not as a number or statistic. Dignity means recognising each girl's humanity, potential, and right to live free from discrimination, violence, and injustice. We actively challenge harmful words, images, and practices that diminish girls' self-worth. Through our programs, we restore confidence, nurture identity, and create environments where girls are respected and empowered. A girl who stands in her dignity becomes a source of change and inspiration for her community.
Purpose
We believe that every girl should live with direction, clarity, and hope for the future. Purpose gives meaning to her journey and inspires her to pursue her dreams with courage. Our mission is to walk alongside vulnerable young women and girls, equipping them with knowledge, mentorship, and opportunities that enable them to discover their strengths. By helping them set goals and overcome challenges, we empower them to lead fruitful and impactful lives. A girl who knows her purpose becomes a changemaker, capable of transforming not only her own life but also her family and community.
Belonging
We believe that every girl should feel safe, accepted, and valued within her community. Belonging means knowing she is not alone, that her voice matters, and that she has a place where she is embraced and supported. When girls experience belonging, they rise above feelings of insecurity, isolation, and helplessness. Instead, they gain the confidence to dream bigger, build healthy relationships, and contribute to their communities. We create spaces both in schools and at community level where girls are included, protected, and empowered to grow.

Every pad distributed, every uniform given, every teen mother sheltered — that is hope taking shape. This belief has anchored BintiCare Foundation Kenya since 2012, growing into a movement now reaching more than 30 schools and thousands of children across Kenya's most underserved communities.

Our Story
From a single meal to a movement
2012
BintiCare Foundation Kenya is founded
What began as fundraising to keep young girls in school grew into a registered nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women and girls to know their worth and reach their full potential.
2024
A single outreach, a defining moment
LisheKwaMtoto began as one meal-provision activity for underserved children — and revealed how many were learning on empty stomachs. What started as a response to hunger became a structured school feeding program across Kenya's Arid and Semi-Arid Lands.
2024–2025
Programs expand beyond feeding
Healthy Girls, Healthy Communities (Pad a Girl), Uniform a Child, and the Education Scholarship Program launch — extending BintiCare's reach from the classroom into menstrual health, dignity and long-term learning support.
2025–2026
Measurable impact at scale
More than 30 schools and 11,400 learners reached; 1,085 girls supported with menstrual health education; 983 women trained in reusable pad production — alongside the launch of the Teenage Mothers and Forgotten People programs.
